Details of Sycamore Lodge Livery

We offer limited spaces for full, part, Diy, breaking & schooling, holiday and retirement liveries taylored to suit both horse and rider.  Help is always at hand and the following extras are also available: clipping, trimming, schooling and tuition.

The Yard

The yard comprises of both american barn and courtyard stables, all of which are fitted with rubber mats, bedded on shavings, with automatic water drinkers.

A communal tackroom with lockable cupboards.  Also accommodating toilet facilities.

Caravan Cafe

Our caravan is really handy, if you need a quick change of clothes or a warm up after a chilly winter ride.  Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with some horsey reading material.

All year turnout

Having all year turnout is an absolute asset.  All fields are safely fenced, paddocks are horse meshed & electric fence.
Summer paddocks are available for those who gain weight easily.  For those who need weight gain, good quality grazing is available.
Your horses safety is always the top of my list.  Mares and geldings are in separate fields, and care is taken that horses are all happy and not bullied.

Riding opportunities

Being in the 'Heart of Gower', we have access to fantastic off road riding.  A quick hack around the country lanes if you are short of time, or a longer ride with access to Port Eynon, Oxwich and Rhossili beaches. Or enjoy the panoramic views from the hills of  Cefn Bryn, Rhossili downs and Llanmadoc.

Tuition is available for all age from 4 years upwards on your own horse or pony.  Either in indoor school, railed grass paddock or jumping paddock offering a mixture of wh or show jumps.
The local Gower Riding Club and Swansea Pony Club are only 15-25 minutes drive away and both offer a diary of events and training throughout the year.  Visit their websites for details.
